General Rules
These apply to every racer at Lanes Raceway, slot cars and RC alike.
Everyone racing at Lanes Raceway follows these rules. Class-specific rules, including car specs and penalties, are on the Slot Car Rules and RC Car Rules pages.
Turn marshaling
Turn marshaling isn't optional. If you are racing, you turn marshal when you are sitting out. Racers who don't marshal face penalties; see your class rules for details.
Conduct
- No running.
- No fighting. This is a hobby, so just have fun.
- Keep track calls to a minimum.
Enforcement
Rules are strictly enforced, so please stay legal or you won't be allowed to race. The Race Director has the final say on tech and rule calls, and all racers and the track director help enforce the rules.
Rule changes and suggestions
Rules may be added to or changed to keep the racing close and fair for everyone. When changes are made, we'll post them on our Facebook page. If you have a suggestion for the rules, let us know and we'll consider it.
